Quentin Tarantino says he would have liked to confront his longtime collaborator Harvey Weinstein, especially in the wake of the criminal allegations that have surfaced.
The director was grilled by Chris Wallace on his CNN show Friday night...he was asked why he hadn't done more to protect women in HW's orbit if he was, in fact, aware of the film producer's behavior - something Tarantino has hinted at in recent years.

QT clarified that while he had heard things about Weinstein...he insists he was never aware of anything regarding the rape or sexual assault - which , among others, has been alleged against the former movie mogul by numerous women ... dating back to the 90s.
