Referee Kavanagh helped Arsenal win against Bournemouth - Commentators

Sports commentators Richard Keys and Andy Gray have questioned referee Chris Kavanagh's role in Arsenal's 3-2 win over Bournemouth in Saturday's Premier League game.

The duo argued that Arsenal would not have had a chance to win the game if Kavanagh had not increased the time allowed for added time.

The Gunners looked set to drop at least two points after Bournemouth stunned them at the Emirates Stadium to take a 2-0 lead.

But Arsenal came back thanks to Thomas Partey, Ben White and Reiss Nelson's spectacular winner in the 97th minute.

Commentators questioned why the referee allowed Arsenal to play until the 97th minute when only six minutes were added for added time.

Keys asked: "I would ask for the time of the goal as 97 minutes have been played. I think Bournemouth will have reason to think: 'Where did you get that time?' The referee will have a reason. "

Andy Gray added: "There were six more minutes, you can see that in the top corner, and we were just approaching the 98th minute when Reiss Nelson scored."
