Oyebanji said that institutions should do the right thing and bring about gradual change in the life of the institutions under their care.

Governor Oyebanji, made the remark in his address to the government chamber in Ado-Ekiti, saying that they must work diligently with management and other stakeholders to end the precarious situation in which they find themselves. institutions.

"Forging a way forward to end academic instability, student unrest, unpaid salaries, bureaucratic laxity that makes it impossible to prepare certificates and transcripts on time and at many continuing challenges to institutional development”

The Governor added that schools still face the challenge of meeting their emoluments and overheads, just as institutional governance remains a big issue.

"There has been too much instability in the academic calendar of institutions, especially EKSU, which has significantly eroded the confidence of stakeholders in its stability and competitiveness"

"I urge the council to work to ensure stability of the academic calendar and full accreditation of programs"

Governor Oyebanji said board members and management must strive to be at the top of the league when it comes to finding, staffing and training globally competitive students.

Responding on behalf of the three board members, Professor Akin Oyebode, assured the Governor that they would all do their best to position the institutions where they are supposed to be to produce the best and the brightest.
