The statement read: "I received with shock and deep sorrow the sad news of the death of the former Minister of State for Special Functions, former National Secretary and former National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP ), Prince Vincent Ogbulafor. .

"The death of Prince Ogbulafor is a great national loss. He was a patriotic leader, a nationalist and detribalized Nigerian, very passionate and dedicated to the sustenance, unity, stability and development of our country .

"As National Secretary and then National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Ogbulafor discharged his duties with great commitment and played a key role in deepening the principles of democratic rule and good governance in the country.

"Furthermore, as Minister of the Federal Republic, he demonstrated unwavering loyalty and devotion to our dear homeland and contributed to the development and implementation of policies effective for the stability and development of our dear nation.

“Prince Ogbulafor will always be remembered for his administrative skill in carrying out any responsibility entrusted to him. It is sad that he left the stage at a time when our country needs his skills and his wealth of experience.
