Scott Disick reunites with the Kardashians to celebrate Mason's Bar Mitzvah
Mason Disick is officially 13 and his dad, Scott Disick, reunited with the Kardashian-Jenner family this weekend to celebrate his son's birthday. While Mason turned 13 on Dec. 14 (it's also his 8-year-old brother Reign's birthday), his bar mitzvah took place Dec. 17 at the Offsunset Lounge in West Hollywood. Several members of the extended Kardashian family were pictured arriving at the party on Saturday, including Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's ex and father of 10-year-old Mason, Reign and Penelope.
As Kris Jenner's eldest grandchild, Mason began to shun the spotlight, but his aunt Kim Kardashian shared a recent photo of him on her Instagram Story on Dec. 14, according to E! News. "The day has come when you are bigger than [sic] me now," Kim captioned the photo which showed her nephew. "I love who you are and I'm so proud of you Mason. Welcome to your teenage years. Happy birthday."
Khloé Kardashian also sent her best wishes to Mason on Instagram with a series of inside photos from her party. Although the boy whose birthday it is isn't in any of them, his sister, Penelope, and cousin North West are. "Mazel Tov Mason!!! The girls and I tried to take pics," she captioned the candid photos she shared on Instagram.
Her grandmother Kris also shared a sweet tribute to Mason and Reign on Instagram. The grandmother of 12 shared a carousel of photos of the boys along with a lengthy message celebrating their joint birthday.
"Happy birthday to two of the brightest lights in my life, my beautiful grandsons, Mason and Reign!" Kris wrote. "Mason, you are my firstborn grandson, and I am so proud of you every day! You have grown into such an amazing young man, and I adore you. Reign, you are the funniest!!!! You you are a special guy with so many sides to your personality!!!You both have the most amazing qualities and are kind, considerate, loving, so smart, so talented in so many ways, and such a special magical part of our family...AND it's crazy that you were born on the same day!!!!Five years apart!!!!You are both the best sons, grandsons, brothers, nephews and friends to us all of you and i love you so much!!!!!!! Lovey xoxo."
