Although born in Zimbabwe, Snater played international cricket during the Netherlands – appearing in four one-day events and 13 T20 internationals so far ent.

He made his debut in Essex 2018 and took career best numbers from first class of 7-98 against Nottinghamshire in May 2021.

His previous contract was due to expire at the end of the next summer.

"I've been working hard to improve my red ball game and it's has come to fruition in the last two seasons," he said.
