Sharon Osbourne suffered a terrifying medical emergency while filming a TV show in California... TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge tell us that it all happened on Friday night... Sharon fell ill while filming the No Name show at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, CA. It was unclear if the cameras were rolling. The hotel was previously featured in an episode of the Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventurers"

A Ventura County Fire Department representative tells TMZ… Emergency medical services workers responded to a “medical call” at Tavern around 6:30 p.m. Friday and transported a patient to the Santa Paula Hospital. Santa Paula Police Chief Don Aguilar confirmed that Sharon was the patient.
We contacted Glen Tavern and a manager told us there was an "emergency" but declined to provide details. We don't know Sharon's current condition.
