Smash Mouth's Steve Harwell in palliative care due to liver failure, report

Steve Harwell, known for being the lead singer of Smash Mouth, entered hospice care following hepatic complications.

A Harwell manager confirmed to TMZ that the singer "suffered from alcohol abuse throughout his life - and now he's reached the end stage of liver failure."

Media note that Harwell was hospitalized for treatment but is now back home to receive palliative care surrounded by friends. and my family for the past three days.

"Steve's manager says he probably only has about a week left to live" , indicates the ratio.< /p>

Harwell is one of the founders of Smash Mouth, formed in 1994. The rock band is famous for their hit song "All Star", released in 1999. Other songs that cemented the band include "Walkin' on the Sun", "Can't Get Enough of You Baby" and "I'm a Believer". p>

Following the announcement of Harwell's condition, fellow singer Bret Michaels went to is turned to social networks to send him a message words.

"All my thoughts, prayers and best wishes go out to my friend Steve Harwell. I knew you are a fighter, keep fighting bro," Michaels shared on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
