Sonia Ekweremadu Deserves Free Kidney Donation – Okowa Aid Tells Nigerians

An assistant to Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, Ossai Success, says Sonia Ekweremadu, the daughter of former Senate Deputy Speaker, Ike Ekweremadu, deserves free kidney donations from Nigerians .

Success recalled that Ekweremadu played a role in the formation of the country; for this, citizens should not hesitate to offer to be Sonia's kidney donor.

Sonia had pleaded with members of the public on Monday to donate a kidney to her after being diagnosed with a rare kidney disease.

His parents are currently charged with organ harvesting in the UK, which has not improved his condition.

Reacting to Sonia's request, Ossai, via her Facebook page on Monday evening, wrote, "Ekweremadu's daughter deserves free kidney donations, prayers from Nigerians for her father's role in Nigeria training.

“Former Senate Deputy Speaker Ike Ekweremadu has done well for Nigerians, and as such, his daughter deserves free kidney donations from Nigerians.

"Those who laugh at her are playing with God and nature.

"If you can't give her your kidney, then pray for her instead of making fun of her family.

"His father paid his dues as a patriotic Nigerian who, as a politician, selflessly served Nigerians.

“Now is the time for us Nigerians to return the favor by donating a kidney to save the life of her daughter Sonia. Please save her.”
