Spanish Grand Prix LIVE: Verstappen faces penalty as Hamilton and Russell fight for podium
Lando Norris, who starts from third place, jokingly called poleman Max Verstappen to avoid keeping him in Barcelona this afternoon.
When asked if he felt confident or not before the race, Norris replied, "Not really! Yeah, not really.
"You never know, the pace could be mega and I could catch Max and pass him. Hopefully he won't hold me back like in Monaco, but we'll see!
"It's a new day, we didn't expect to be as good [in qualifying] as we were and, as Carlos [Sainz] said, we are on the clean side of the grid. I left him that one because I want to get off the track alive!"
