Stephen Bear's 'revenge porn' conviction could set benchmark for new prosecutions, activists say.

The former reality TV star was found guilty of sharing private sex photos and videos with intent to cause distress on Tuesday.

Kate Isaacs, who founded the charity Not Your Porn, described her victim, Georgia Harrison, as "resilient and courageous".

She added that his conviction "would set a precedent".

Ms Isaacs told the BBC that pursuing such cases often proves very difficult.

She started the campaign group after a close friend fell victim to so-called revenge porn when a video of her having sex ended up on the PornHub website.< /p>'Unparalleled Bravery'

Ms. Isaacs advised Harrison and his family when they began pursuing Bear.
