The police spokesperson said: "So Safe Corps has shared information with police that the notorious most wanted criminal, Lukman Shonubi, aka Tinny, whom police have been tracking, was seen at a function stirring up trouble to distract his victims, then dispossess them of their valuables. This time the police were faster than him, arrived just in time, surrounded him, stopped again and took him away from the event.

"Tinny, during interrogation, confessed that he had killed more than six people as a cultist and had robbed supermarkets, where he robbed a woman at gunpoint , stealing purses, phones, ATM card, food bank and cash of around N300,000.”

As items such as a locally made firearm were recovered from the suspect's residence following a search of his hideout, command noted it was stepping up efforts to apprehend members of Tinny's gang.
