Terrorist attacks: Dino Melaye calls for the resignation of Buhari aides, ministers and department heads

Amid the challenge of insecurity in the country, Dino Melaye, a former senator from Kogi West, has called for the resignation of some senior government officials.

Melaye said some of President Muhammadu Buhari's aides, ministers, department heads and general managers should step down.

He anchored his call on the fact that Nigeria has a government without governance.

In a Facebook post, the former lawmaker recounted how some ministers and 48 people resigned from the UK government in the past two days.

“19 ministers and 48 people resigned from the UK government in 48 hours. ?

"We are at the lowest point in our history. We have a government without governance. SDM", he wrote.

This comes at a time when Buhari's forward team was attacked by gunmen in Daura, Katsina State.

Similarly, suspected Boko Haram terrorists invaded Kuje Correctional Center in Abuja.

The terrorists freed all of their members locked up in the facility during the operation which lasted about two hours on Tuesday.
