TGI Distri is spreading the love on its 5th anniversary
As part of activities marking its 5th anniversary, leading food brand distributor, TGI Distri Limited, recently visited SOS Children's Village and Bethesda Home for the Blind in Lagos. The company also visited the Green Pasture Children's Home Kano to congratulate and spend time with the special people in these homes.
During the visit, the company donated its quality products to households as part of its corporate social responsibility. This aims to support the growth and development of the special people in these homes by nurturing them for their well-being. Donated items include cartons of Golden Terra Soybean Oil, Big Bull Rice, and Terra Seasoning Cubes.
Upon arriving at SOS Children's Village Isolo, the TGI Distri Limited team was greeted by Justinah Ochejeni, Account Manager, Acting Orphanage Store Coordinator. The team congratulated the administrators of the orphanage for the remarkable work done to restore hope and have a positive impact on the lives of the children who reside there.
The same gesture was extended to Bethesda Home for the Blind Mushin, where the TGI Distri crew were treated to a heartwarming musical performance. During the interaction with the students, the team learned about the aspirations of some students and encouraged them to pursue their dreams against all odds. With smiles on their faces, they thanked TGI Distri Limited for spending time with them and making their day better.
Chioma Ohakwe, the administrator of the Bethesda Home for the Blind expressed her joy at the visit of the TGI Distri team and congratulated the management of the company for this initiative.
“I am very happy and you can see the smiles on the faces of these students. This does not happen to us every day and every time we see people donating to our organization we are grateful” , she said.
Furthermore, at Green Pasture Home, Kano, the children were thrilled to welcome the team and receive their share of love from the TGI Distri family. The administrator of the home thanked the team for supporting the welfare of the children.
