Ambassador is the first British cruise line to launch in a decade and the Ambience of 1,400 passengers is the first ship in its fleet, with a second called Ambition set to begin sailing in May 2023.

Ambience is new to the Ambassador, but it's not a new ship. It was built for the American liner Princess in 1991 and christened by Margaret Thatcher the same year! About a decade later it became part of the P&O Australia fleet before Ambassador purchased it in 2020.
