TikTok down, users can't access videos

Video sharing platform, TikTok is currently experiencing a service outage, affecting tens of thousands of users worldwide.

The app does not refresh and users cannot scroll through videos.

Daily Mail reported that the outage occurred at 1:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. Nigerian Time) on Friday

More than 50,000 problem reports were posted in the United States on DownDetector Friday at 1:19 p.m. ET.

The outage impacts the connection to the server, as some users are told that they needed to connect to the internet while others cannot refresh their feed.

This outage marks the app's second crash in a week.

The previous crash that happened on Tuesday and lasted an hour.

TikTok users have taken to Twitter to complain about the issue, although the tech company has yet to fix the issue.
