American actor Tom Sizemore, known for his roles in Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, has died aged 61, according to his manager.
Sizemore rose to fame in the 1990s, often playing supporting roles as badass - usually military, police or criminal. His other credits included Natural Born Killers, Pearl Harbor and Heat.
But he also had drug issues and served time in prison for domestic violence.< /p>
Sizemore had been in a coma since suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm on February 18.
His manager, Charles Lago, said he died Friday at a hospital in Burbank, Calif., with his brother Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger, 17, by his side.

He said the Sizemore sons were devastated and asked that their privacy be respected.
