A rep for Chief Justin told us he was cleared for air on Monday outside the Minnesota hospital where he was receiving treatment. We're told it really lifted his spirits, mostly because he could see friends and family who had been restricted due to COVID protocols.

However, Tuesday will be another day of surgery for Justin which will include extensive facial work. He will also have to undergo dental work and other surgeries in the future.

As for what happened... The 'Fast Foodies' host was piloting his boat over the holiday weekend when his hat ripped his head off. As he was about to catch him, he hit a large wave, throwing him overboard just next to the propeller, slashing his head, face and arm.
