According to a Bloomberg report citing people familiar with the matter, conversations among local law enforcement officials, including the FBI, have intensified in recent days as they investigate Bankman's role- Fried in the fall of the exchange

Since the incident, former FTX CEO, co-founder Gary Wang and engineering director Nishad Singh have been known to be in the Bahamas, where they are "under surveillance" by local authorities.< /p>

Initially, rumors surfaced that Bankman-Fried was potentially looking to flee to Dubai. However, due to an agreement between the US and the UAE, US-based fugitives who attempt to resettle in Dubai have a high chance of being detained and returned.
