Vaquera, Palomo Spain and Ashish Design Outdoor Luggage

Away continues its series of designer partnerships for a second year with a new batch of talent. The direct-to-consumer luggage company has teamed up with Vaquera, Palomo Spain and Ashish on limited-edition designs.

Each label put its aesthetic signature on two key Away items, each designing a large carry-on and a bag scarf.

Vaquera's cheeky, nihilistic take on New York's youth culture was translated into a rose photorealistic reminiscent of the paper wrappers the city's bodegas use to tie sidewalk bouquets. Ashish's larger-than-life approach to color and texture results in digitized and scratched-up doodles. And Palomo Spain has also covered its Away design with a large flower - its own in black on a yellow background - reminiscent of some of the Victorian mourning ensembles that have been referenced in previous collections.

"It's been amazing to partner with such creative and daring minds for the series of collaborations of this year. Each designer brought a fresh perspective to some of Away's most beloved pieces. By using original materials, prints and colors, the designers perfectly blended their distinct aesthetic with Away's clean designs,” said Cuan Hanly, Design Director of Away.

The designs hit Away's website and retail stores on October 4th and their price ranges from $155 to $295.< /p>
