Indiana Traffic Stop Video of Bryan Kohberger Where Cops Let Him Go
Bryan Kohberger was pulled over by Indiana cops in mid-December in this white Hyundai Elantra, but they let him go -- and we have video of the encounter.
It happened on December 15... an Indiana State Police trooper stopped the car for following too closely. There were two men in the car -- Kohberger was driving, and the passenger was presumably his father, who accompanied him from Washington State to Pennsylvania.
Police officials said at the time of the stop, they knew nothing about the license plate or the state the car was registered in. However, more than a week prior, cops had asked the public for help in locating a white Hyundai Elantra, the car Kohberger was driving in.
The police let them go with a verbal warning. BTW, during the stop, the cop asks where they're going, and they answer, Pennsylvania...to which the cop says, "It's a long drive. Are you afraid of planes?" The cop then laughs.
During the meeting, Kohberger's father mentions a shooting near Washington State University, adding that his son went to school there. A man had barricaded himself in an apartment near the University and was threatening to kill his 2 roommates... he died in a police shooting.
