As the day has passed since Richard Sharp announced his resignation as chairman of the BBC, new details have emerged about the series of events that led to his decision to step down.

BBC Director General Tim Davie visited the President at his west London home yesterday.
We know this because we had a cameraman outside the house. News had broken that Adam Heppinstall KC's report was about to come out.
