Why PDP party agents left the INEC collection center — Melaye

Agents of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) left the collection center in Abuja ahead of the announcement of the winner of the presidential election.
Senator Dino Melaye reportedly mobilized party operatives to stage a snack walkout if the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not comply with their offer.
On the reason for leaving the room, Melaye said; “Having observed that the President of INEC is bent on rigging the elections by ensuring that the results are not uploaded, vehemently making a presentation that gives the impression that we are all here to endorse the fraud prepared between INEC and the APC, we say that we are not here to approve of the electoral fraud that has been prepared by the INEC and the APC.
"We are Nigerians. There is no place on the server where the results have been uploaded.
“The political parties here staged a walkout to voice the unfortunate politicization and commercialization of our electoral process.”
European Union observers also said the polls fell short of the international standards Nigeria had set for itself and called for continued irregularities in the process.
