Women's workwear company Argent teams up with Agolde for denim capsule collection

It's no secret that everyone dresses differently for the office after getting spent two years locked up at home.< /p>

Now that people are returning to offices, the daily dress code has opened up and turned into something something more relaxed.

That's why Argent, a New York-based company launched in 2016 to provide career women with versatile and fashionable clothing options, embraces the casual movement and introduces denim to its range of blazers, pants, sweaters and blouses. She's doing just that in a capsule collection with high-end Los Angeles denim label Agolde.

"Denim has always been on my radar," said Sali Christeson, Founder and CEO of Argent who has technical and financial vocational training. "With this capsule, we believe we are representing work in terms of how women present themselves."

The collection also emphasizes that Argent's blazers are perfect for pairing with jeans. "The key to our collection has been versatility," said the CEO.

Christeson found Agolde through a friend who put her in touch with Amy Williams, CEO of Citizens of Humanity, the parent company of Agolde. The two quickly got to work hatching ideas for the denim pieces that Agolde will manufacture at its Los Angeles factory.

"Sali and the Argent team approached us with their Agolde favorites, and we used these cuts as a starting point for these exclusive items," Williams said. "We wanted our signature fits to pair easily with a modern Silver blazer, bold colors and shapes. that could be worn in any professional setting and would make the wearer feel confident, comfortable and powerful."

Capsule takes on two Agolde hero silhouettes (the 90s size medium and the Riley straight) and combines them with three washes - light, medium and dark - creating three jeans. "We removed the damaged garments and cleaned the hems," Christeson said.
