There are no plans for a Wonder Woman 3 at Warner Bros.' DC Studios, Deadline confirmed with sources.

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot excited the internet with her comments in a pre-SAG-AFTRA interview for the Netflix movie Heart of Stone, which she was developing a trio with Gunn and Safran. She further underlined these statements during another meeting with Flaunt magazine.

"I was invited to a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran [co-president and CEO from DC alongside Gunn] and what they told me, and I quote, "You're in good hands. We're going to develop Wonder Woman 3 with you. [We] will love as Wonder Woman - you have nothing to fear.' Then time will tell."

After Gunn and Safran turn down Patty Jenkins' plans for Wonder Woman 3 in December, it was never part of DC's new management's plans to make Wonder Woman 3. Ironically, Gadot tweeted ahead of news of Jenkins' rejection from the new DC, saying, "A few years ago I was told I was going to be playing Wonder Woman. I was so grateful to have the opportunity to play such an amazing and iconic character and more than anything, I'm grateful to you. The fans. I can't wait to share his next chapter with you."

After Jenkins stopped treatment, Gunn took to Twitter to say, "We know that we are not going to make every person happy every step of the way, but we can promise that everything we do is in service of STORY and in service of the DC CHARACTERS that we know you cherish and that we have cherished all our lives.

Proof that no Wonder Woman 3 has yet lied in the January presentation that Gunn and Safran introduced the press to their DC universe titled "Gods and Monsters," which kicks off with Gunn's Superman: Legacy in theaters July 11, 2025.
