Mbappe now has five goals in four games and leads the race for the Golden Boot, ahead of Argentina captain Lionel Messi and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo.
But the 24-year-old said: "The only goal for me is to win the World Cup. The only thing I dream about is that.
“I came here to win this World Cup. I didn't come here to win the Ballon d'Or or the Golden Shoe. That's not why I'm here. I'm here to win and I'm here to help the France team."
