"I have nothing but words of thanks to the fans for all the love they sent me when I got injured," Neymar said after scoring in the demolition of South Korea.
"I had a difficult night after being injured and I was afraid that I would not play the World Cup again.
"But I had the support of my colleagues and family and tried to find strength where I couldn't find it.
"Reading messages sent by fans has also made me feel good.
"Perhaps the best way to thank you is to do everything I can to help the Brazilian team win the tournament. This is our mission, this is our dream."
