A huge cloud in the shape of an eagle was hovering over a mountain on the Isle of Arran.

Kirstie Smith, 39, captured the cloud over North Goatfell, Isle of Arran, North Ayrshire , as she walked her seven-year-old Border Collie, Caileag, on Monday.

Postman Kirstie walked an hour and a half up the hill before seeing the clouds begin to turn into an eagle - and quickly snapped it on his iPhone.

"I was just laying on the grass in the sun watching the clouds.

'He wasn't trained to begin with but as he did I thought he looked like the perfect eagle.

'I saw the legs and beak come together.

'It was so lucky - I just couldn't believe it.

'It was weird, all the other clouds were moving but this one was completely still.

'I just took the photo on my iPhone, so it wasn't anything extraordinary in terms of photography, but I just was lucky at that time to see him.'< /p>
