Los Angeles Mayor’s Campaign Strategist Stick with Reality TV, Spencer Pratt!!!

Spencer Pratt announced his run for town hall from Los Angeles yesterday… but Karen Bass“The team doesn’t seem worried.
As we reported … the 42-year-old reality star announced her new mayoral bid on the one-year anniversary of the Pacific Palisades Fire, which destroyed more than 6,000 structures, including the home Pratt shared with his wife. Heidi Montag and their two sons.
Since the tragedy, Spencer has engaged in heated exchanges with California politicians, encouraging his fans to call on him to run for office. Even though he answered the call, not everyone seems to think it’s a good idea.

Although Spencer went after several California lawmakers, he perhaps attacked none more harshly than the governor. Gavin Newsom. The governor’s office called Spencer a ‘C-list reality TV star’ after he attacked Newsom for a controversial ordinance.
Newsom’s office insisted the governor had nothing to do with the bill, which would have allowed low-income properties to be built on burned land in the Palisades, but the proposed legislation never took effect anyway.
In a interview with KABC-TV On Tuesday, Bass said she’s still thinking about the Palisades and won’t rest “until the Palisades looks like it did before January 7, 2025.”

She also commented on the “They Let Us Burn” rally at which Spencer made her town hall announcement, saying, “I think there are people who are taking advantage of this, and that’s what I find very despicable.”
She added… “For me, I hope it’s about healing and moving forward and reclaiming this community. Every Palisadian who wants to come back. That should be the goal.”
