If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, you may be sleeping with hundreds of dollars worth of free PC games every month.
It’s all part of the Amazon Luna service, which offers a rotating selection of games that you can claim and keep. These aren’t the games you get with PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass either; These are suitable copies that you can keep for good, even if your membership expires.
Claim Sid Meier’s Civilization 6, Fallout, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and more
This week’s big draw is The Civilization of Sid Meier 6a relatively new installment in the hugely popular strategy franchise. Playing as one of twenty rulers in history, these are highly replayable matches where you build your own empire.
Keeping track of resources and territory as you develop new technologies is where most of the challenge lies, although there are also plenty of combat opportunities if you prefer to beat your competitors in war. This would usually cost you $59.99/£49.99 on Steam, although it has been heavily discounted in the past.
Also, don’t miss the opportunity to seize Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – usually $29.99 / £24.99. A futuristic stealth action game, it stars cybernetic agent Adam Jensen as he uncovers a sinister conspiracy that spans a wide range of locations around the world.
Its interpretation of near-future Prague is a highlight and was a joy to explore when I first played this game in 2016.
If that wasn’t enough, fans of the Fallout TV series should get both. To fall And Fallout 2 (both $9.99/£7.99 on Steam). These are older games, sure, but they still hold up thanks to their fantastic writing. You may need to adjust to the isometric perspective, however.
