Brianna LaPaglia isn’t the only public figure to share her concerns about Ozempic. According to previous reports, actress and comedian Mo’Nique shared similar statements, urging her followers to be cautious.

“It’s no tea, no shade, no hate — just some field research,” LaPaglia said in his recent TikTok about the diabetes drug used for weight loss. “Every bitch I know is on Ozempic.” LaPaglia continued: “People who don’t need Ozempic. Okay?”
The Barstool Sports alum then made a shocking statement about those who choose to use Ozempic to achieve their fitness goals. “You’re going to die,” she declared. “You’re all going to die.”
Ozempic, or GLP-1 agonists, according to the Cleveland Clinic, are medications that not only help reduce blood sugar but also help with weight loss.
Social Media Users Slam Brianna LaPaglia After Direct Message to Those Using Ozempic for Weight Loss
Some social media users were not pleased to hear LaPaglia’s latest statements on the mainstream drug.
One user blasted the media personality, accusing her of hypocrisy and saying she “sucks on her vape like it’s an oxygen mask.”
Another user chimed in, adding sarcastically: “Thank goodness we have his professional medical opinion.” »
Someone else echoed the sentiment, posting: “Someone should revoke their medical license. Oh wait…”
A fourth user seemed to take a more serious tone, writing: “I think I’ll follow the advice of doctors who have been studying obesity for decades. But thanks.”
Brianna LaPaglia Gets Candid About Her Body Image Struggles
Although this may be her first time speaking out on Ozempic, LaPaglia has spoken boldly about her struggles with body image in the past.
During her appearance on the “Real Pod” podcast, the “Special Forces” reality star opened up about her experience with “anxiety-induced eating disorder,” adding that she was “always nauseous.”
LaPaglia said it was difficult for her to eat because it made her sick.
“I avoided eating at all costs because I knew it would make me sick, or I felt nauseous all the time. [because of] my anxiety about not being able to eat,” she added.
LaPaglia said her struggle with food reached an even lower point in the fall of 2023, when she hit her lowest weight, sparking concern among those around her.
“I was anemic from it, I had bruises all over me, and it was really, really hard when you’re in there for so long. Your body gets used to it, and when I finally got out of all that anxiety, or was able to look in the mirror and see what I looked like, [it] was so unhealthy,” she said.
Mo’Nique urges the public to think about the possible consequences of using GLP-1 for weight loss
LaPaglia is not the only public figure to speak out against Ozempic, according to The Blast.
In February 2026, comedian Mo’Nique shared a similar message with her followers about Ozempic.
“What are the long-term effects? What will it do to your body? Your mind? What will it do to us in five years, in ten years?” she asked.
“You can go down to that size two or four or that size eight or whatever. But I would ask you to research what you’re putting into your body,” the actress continued.
Andy Cohen used GLP-1 to lose weight
According to The Blast, Andy Cohen, on the other hand, has been extremely candid about using Ozempic to help him lose a few pounds.
Cohen, best known for his role on Bravo’s “Real Housewives” and “Watch What Happens Live,” explained on an episode of his popular radio show that using the drug helped him do more than just achieve his goals.
“It’s really helped me with the cravings, which I struggled with a lot, and really forced me to be more disciplined with my diet and with my workout. I’m on a pretty rigorous health journey,” the father of two explained.
