Oprah Winfrey applauds Trolls during Paris Fashion Week viral walk

Oprah Winfrey » clarifies Internet users’ favorite moment during Paris Fashion Week: this slow walk that everyone joked about made him look “like he was 90 years old”. Turns out, according to her, it was a pretty simple reason.

The media mogul addressed the viral clip from the Chloé show earlier this month, where she and her best friend Gayle King appeared to move cautiously around the room… sparking many comments online.

During a recent appearance, Oprah said she saw the jokes and understood why people were confused. She said people were dragging her, recalling how social media users mocked the two men’s cautious moves.

But Oprah says the reality was much less dramatic…she couldn’t actually see where she was going.

She says her assistant handed her a pair of Chloe sunglasses just before she got out of the car to enter the living room. The problem ? Sunglasses were not prescribed – Oprah normally wears glasses or contact lenses.

Without them, she said she was sailing blind.

Oprah explained that she kept telling security that she needed help knowing where to step because she couldn’t see clearly with her non-prescription sunglasses.

Oprah revealed that her longtime friend was suffering from two broken toes at the time…which means they both had a reason to take things slow.

Mystery solved.
