Star of “Jersey Shore” Ronnie Ortiz Magro breaks his silence after raising the alarm with a series of worrying behaviors.
In a series of Instagram posts Monday morning, Ronnie first shared this statement: “High-functioning depression is waking up every day with a face that works but a heart that doesn’t, doing everything you’re supposed to do and feeling nothing inside, and most of the time it’s like being trapped in your own life, forced to keep moving even when every part of you wants to stop.”

He then shared an article raising awareness that May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and later, an interview with an NBA player. Kyrie Irving stating, “It’s okay to be human. Like, I don’t need to be perfect for anyone here or the audience. So I’m not here to dispel any perception. I’m just here to be myself.”
The first quote appears to have been reposted from an account called Poetry Ticus.
Ronnie has had a tough time during his recent appearances on the “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” media tour. He appeared to doze off mid-conversation when the cast was doing an interview with SiriusXM, and was reportedly asked to leave a red carpet event early.
Like us first reportedRonnie’s problems recently spilled over into real life… cops were called to his Miami home in March after his ex reported a domestic dispute while he tried to move out in the middle of a breakup.

Ronnie has struggled with addiction in the past, and he has been open about his trials and tribulations.
In the meantime, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino offered support to his co-star last week… while drawing the line by saying, “I want to be clear that I am not responsible for the actions of the other actors.”
