Kevin Hart is in Tony Hinchcliffethe corner after the controversial comic was criticized for a George Floyd “joke” that many think is racist during Kevin’s roast…and he wants people to stop beating him up for Tony’s punchline.

As you know… Hinchcliffe was torn by some comics and George Floyd’s family after making a tasteless joke about Floyd, as well as jokes about lynching and the comedian’s suicide. Sheryl UnderwoodIt’s the late husband.
Kevin disagrees with the haters, telling “The Breakfast Club”…Tony is not racist, and he agreed with Floyd’s line in the context of a roast.
Kevin stressed that he wouldn’t tell that joke, but he understood why Hinchcliffe went there…because going over the line is the point of a roast.

Chelsea managerwho was also part of Kevin’s roast, was one of the most notable voices in to call Tony and the MC of the event Shane Gillis as racist… and said they ruined the night.
Floyd’s family blasted Tony and Kevin…and were especially upset since this was the second roast in a row in which TH made a joke about Floyd, also making light of his death during Tom BradyIt’s roast.

But again, Kevin said those who were mad at him were out of line…and he revealed he even had Floyd’s buddy Stephen Jackson after the roast to discuss the Hinchliffe joke. He did not say how Stephen reacted.
Kevin might want this to die down, but something tells us this back and forth is far from over.
