Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Free Download Officially Announced

THE second trackr for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is out yesterday with a host of new details about the film. And if you want to play Spider-Man as soon as possible, Insomniac Games quickly made an announcement to fans.

From July 28 (a few days before Brand new day released in theaters), Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 players will be able to download the “Fresh Start” DLC completely free. Unfortunately, this is not a DLC that we could have hoped for (expansions planned for the game seems to have been canceled). What it is is an opportunity to don the new Peter Parker movie threads.

Insomniac Games has done a solid job of including all of Spidey’s characters. MCU Costumes in these games over the years. We had the hybrid suit, the house suit and the improved classic suit. The Raimi and Webb films were also depicted, so it’s nice to see that the latest costume – which we know was directly influenced by Maguire and Garfield’s sons – is coming to the game.

“Get a fresh start in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2”, Insomniac wrote in a social media post. “Cross the horizons in Peter Parker’s ‘Fresh Start’ suit inspired by the upcoming film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, in theaters July 31! The suit will be available in-game via the update on July 28 on PS5 and PC at no additional cost!”

This new costume is, of course, inspired by the idea that Peter Parker is finally learning to be the kind of Spider-Man we knew in the comics. No longer dependent on Tony Stark or his technology, this suit and its gadgets were all created by Peter himself, establishing that this is absolutely a “fresh start” for the MCU version of the character.
