Roc Nation and Jay Z Earn a legal victory in Diddy Fallout Feud
Published

The bitter legal war between Jay-Z and lawyer Tony Buzbee just took another round and this round went to Roc Nation.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a Texas judge has dismissed all claims against Jay-Z’s company in lawsuits filed by two former Buzbee clients for lack of jurisdiction. The litigation involves Roc Nation and lawyers working with Jay-Z’s camp inappropriately targeting Buzbee’s clients amid the fallout from the Diddy scandal and subsequent allegations involving Jay-Z.

The lawsuits were among several legal fallouts spawned by the escalating feud between Buzbee and Jay-Z’s crew after Buzbee filed a now-withdrawn lawsuit that included sexual assault allegations against the rap mogul.
Jay-Z denied the allegations and fought back aggressively, saying Buzbee pursued false allegations and launched multiple lawsuits against the lawyer.
Today, a judge ruled that the state does not have personal jurisdiction over Roc Nation and dismissed lawsuits against the company. The decision does not address the merits of the allegations, so it is possible the claims will be filed elsewhere.
We’ve reached out to Buzbee…so far, no response.
