- Grand Theft Auto 6 will have a Standard and Ultimate edition
- The Ultimate Edition is the premium version with a host of exclusive features.
- Pre-ordering any edition will entitle you to the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Rockstar Games has officially revealed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will only have two versions at launch: Standard and Ultimate Edition.
It’s not what many expected, but there are major differences between the two.
If you’re not sure which edition you plan to pre-order at midnight on June 25, here’s everything you need to know about both.
Price
The Standard Edition will cost $79.99, which isn’t too expensive for the most anticipated game of all time, while the Ultimate Edition will cost $99.99.
No disc in physical editions
Rockstar has confirmed that those who pre-order the digital versions of GTA6 Pre-loading can begin on November 12, seven days before the game launches on November 19.
However, no matter which version of the game you buy, whether Standard or Ultimate, the physical edition will not come with a disc, but with a download code in the box.
It’s a shame, but the physical version will be available from November 12 to support preloading.
What’s included in the Standard Edition?
As is typical with most games, the GTA6 The Standard Edition will only include the base game and no additional add-ons, unlike its more premium counterpart.
