It was Dyson’s top-of-the-line vacuum until this month, thanks to the new cordless vacuum cleaners usurping his place. But that’s a good thing for you, because this vacuum cleaner is still great and now has a better sale price. The Gen5Detect features powerful suction, HEPA filtration and comes with dual vacuum heads for hard floors and carpets. It’s particularly effective at removing cat hair from deep within my carpet, so it’s no wonder this is the case. our favorite vacuum for pet hair.
Older Dyson robot vacuums worked well, but the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai is the first that is both a robot vacuum cleaner and a mop. It does a good job, although I wasn’t blown away by the promised AI for knowing when to clean my floors. Still, overall it cleans hard floors and carpets quite well and is a much better buy than Dyson’s older robot vacuums.

If you want the cheapest way to access the Dyson ecosystem, it’s here. THE Dyson Car+Boat Looks like your classic Dyson cordless design without the long wand, since this vacuum is handheld only. It’s still powerful enough for a handheld vacuum only and is perfect for apartments, homes with lots of stairs, or anyone with a car they like to vacuum (hence the name).
Look, I don’t know anyone who is dying to get an old-school upright vacuum these days, but if you know someone who is, the Dyson Ball Animal 3 is the way to go. The Ball Animal 3 Extra is on sale for Prime Day and comes with additional accessories than the standard version.
When you think of Dyson hair tools, you probably think of the Airwrap. The Airwrap id has a different look than the classic Airwrap, but works the same way to cause air to wrap around the tool to shape and dry your hair at the same time. There is a version for straight and wavy hair and another version with diffuser for curly and frizzy hair. Only the straight and wavy version is on sale for Prime Day, but it has a nice discount.

THE Aerial Dyson Strait makes an intimidating promise: you can take your hair from wet to dry (and straightened at the same time) while pressed between its plates. Since it doesn’t use heating plates, it also promises no damage, but using it requires a learning curve since the air points downward rather than in all directions like other air tools. It also doesn’t work for all hair types, but it worked well for former WIRED reviewer Brenda Stolyar’s wavy hair when she tested it.
