While it’s only slightly cheaper than the RTX Nitro V 16, it’s the most affordable gaming laptop with an RTX 5050 you can buy right now. It’s great to see a modern gaming laptop reaching almost $1,000 in 2026 as prices skyrocket. On the other hand, the Nitro V 16 is the better buy for most people. —Luc Larsen

Unlike many Windows laptops around $500, the OmniBook 3 offers excellent performance and battery life. There are many cheap gaming monitors available, but most of them compromise on image quality to reduce the price. Not the R27fc Legion. This 1080p monitor is very bright and the color performance is better than any gaming monitor I’ve tested at this price. It also offers the 280Hz refresh rate that PC gamers want. As it’s a VA panel, however, the viewing angles aren’t the best and some people will complain about the glossy screen. That’s a plus in my book though.—Luc Larsen

This is the monitor I think most people should have in their home office, especially at this price. Not only is it a 4K monitor with great colors and a 120Hz refresh rate, but it also has a beautiful white stand with plenty of adjustment options. After buying them, losing them, washing them, or letting them die, I was at my wit’s end last summer when my fourth, yes fourth, pair of Apple AirPods mysteriously stopped working one day. Indoor hydroponic garden

This is the older, smaller version of my favorite Indoor gardening systemwhich includes spaces for 16 plants in exclusive rock wool cubes. The growth is not as spectacular as larger house model due to the unique light bar, but it’s still the most aesthetically pleasing way to grow so many plants in just 1.4 square feet. They’re reliable, easy to use, and come with fun extras like colored light shows and the ability to respond to music. It will not satisfy espresso purists: customization is less simple and there is no visible pressure gauge.
