Since then, there has been no public movement for divorce, despite the fact that they have both been linked to other people. Now, in a new interview, the “RHOBH” star is opening up about the possibility of reconciling with him.

Richards appeared on Dear Media’s “Bosticks” podcast in March 2026. During that time, not only did she discuss “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but she also answered a question from one of the hosts about whether or not she and Umansky could reconcile.
According to the “RHOBH” star, “The million dollar question…I mean, everyone asks me that all the time. And I mean, we’re not going to stay in that gray area forever.”
She continued: “And there’s been more discussion about that recently, I will say.” The host then asked, “Kind of like TBD?” Richards replied: “Well, the longer things go on like this, it seems harder to think about how we can recover from this.”

Richards continued this line of discussion on the “Bosticks” podcast by discussing the difficulty of accepting that she and Umansky are no longer together. She said: “I think for both of us it’s hard to accept or acknowledge because it’s such a part of our identity to be married for so long.”
Richards went on to say that she and her ex-husband had “kept things so normal” when it came to how they operated as a family with their daughters. She continued: “I could say ‘for the kids’ but it’s not just for them, I mean, it’s for us too.”

After the “Bossticks” podcast appeared, many “RHOBH” fans took to the comments section of the episode to react to Richards’ statement regarding her relationship with Umansky.
A person close to her said: “Let me also add that I got married at 16 and have been married for 40 years to my one true love. After 30 years he moved out at my request. We never divorced; we both had a little relationship.”
They continued, “We’ve never even split our bank accounts and always take family trips with our kids and grandkids. It works for us, and as we get older, we can get back together to help each other out. Don’t let anyone define what your family or work should look like.”
Another person highlighted their parenting, writing, “Seriously, such a great family! I raised the best kids on reality TV and that’s no small thing.” Someone else said: “Kyle, save your marriage. Prayers sent.”
Another fan noted, “She looked like she was happily married, as far as long-term marriage goes. But she fell in love with a mediocre country singer. Bless her heart.”
Finally, another “RHOBH” fan mentioned the show, saying, “If Kyle really cares about her family and is trying to protect them and her privacy, she needs to get off this damn show! She doesn’t even share real life anyway. What else does she need to get out?”

There’s been a lot of talk about Richards and Umansky and their respective love lives after their split. This includes Richards reportedly dating a country singer Morgan Wade and Umansky being linked to several women.
Recently, in March 2026, Richards gave an update on her love life to PEOPLE. She said: “All I do is work. I started my production company, House of 18, and I have four TV shows in development. [that I’m] produce. So I’m really, really excited about it and I’ve been playing.
Richards continued: “I just did ‘Lincoln Lawyer.’ I just did another show. So I’m still performing and producing while I’m doing the “Housewives” and wearing a lot of hats, all while staying busy.
Still, regarding her romantic future, she said, “I hope to get married again one day. I mean, look, I’m someone who really enjoys being married. So I’m not going to be single my whole life.”

Richards’ fame came decades before “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” when she began acting as a child. Some of his roles include 1978’s “Halloween,” 1980’s “The Watcher in the Woods,” and “Down to Earth,” which aired from 1984 to 1987.
Now, according to AOL, she has been cast as a guest star in an upcoming episode of ABC’s “911: Nashville.” Before that, she appeared in the fourth season of Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer”, which premiered in 2026.
