Savannah Guthrie Moved to tears by the crowd during the return of the “Today” show

It’s an emotional morning for Savannah Guthrie … Monday marks his first “Today” show since his mother disappeared two months ago.
She walked out onto 30 Rock Square, walking hand in hand with Jenna Bush Hager — to join the co-hosts Craig Melvin, Carson Daly, Al Roker And Sheinelle Jones as they anchor the show surrounded by an enthusiastic crowd.

Craig welcome back “North Star” of the series, and Savannah is seen in tears while waving to fans…many of whom were holding signs saying “Welcome to Savannah.”
She wiped away tears as she thanked the crowd for their love and support, saying… “You guys have been so beautiful. I’ve received so many letters, so much kindness, for me and for my whole family. We feel it, we feel your prayers, thank you!”

Savannah’s mother, Nancydisappeared on February 1st. The host of “Today” had moved away of the show to focus on research and investigation.
Before returning to the morning show, she gave a moving interview to former co-host Hoda Kotbdetailing the past few harrowing months.
Local authorities and the FBI are I’m still looking for Nancy…but I haven’t had a breakthrough yet.
