Shannon Beador is in her feelings after receiving her pet’s diagnosis

Beador updated her fans with some serious news regarding her famous pet, Archie, who is quite regular on her social media as she often shares their fun times. The TV star posted a calm photo of the dog lying in the grass with a ball, alongside a lengthy caption detailing the sad medical news.
The media personality wrote that Archie suffered several seizures before his diagnosis. “Archie has been diagnosed with brain cancer,” she wrote, adding the emotional toll the news has taken on her and her daughters, who have spent the last decade loving the animal. “Our hearts ache for our sweet Archie. He means everything to the girls and me.”
Seemingly encouraging each other to see the positive side, Beador added that they began a medical journey because they are dedicated to helping him overcome this obstacle. She noted that Archie had seen an oncologist and a neurologist and that radiation therapy was next on his list.

The final part of the TV star’s caption asked her for advice from fans who might have had a similar experience with their pets. Feel free to send a DM and contact us,” she wrote before thanking her subscribers for loving the animal as much as her family.
Many fans shared Beador’s pain by commenting heartbreaking emojis, adding that they were also saddened by the news. The post, which received more than six thousand comments, had several fans noting that they had Archie in their prayers.
“Sending prayers for your sweet baby for healing [blue heart emoji]”, one user noted. “Oh my God!! I know he’s going to fight this! Sending prayers for Archie,” wrote another. Another fan advised the mother of three to let Archie live out his final days without feeling sick, pointing out that the inevitable is around the corner, except cancer is completely curable.
“If Archie had this choice, he would choose to let you go without the pain of intervention,” they wrote. Another user echoed similar thoughts, pointing out that radiation is hard on pets and that Beador shouldn’t go that route with Archie; instead, she should “give him the gift of leaving.”
Archie the dog has previously raised health concerns online
In 2020, Beador posted a video of her golden retriever lying on his back and refusing to leave the park as she tried to get him to leave his spot, including pulling on his leash and saying her favorite word, “Dinner.” In another video, the dog refused to climb a hill as the mother of three encouraged him to do so. Archie could be seen sitting on the sidewalk, not wanting to move.
Many fans concerned about Archie took to the comments to ask the reality star if and why he seemed so tired and if Archie was overweight. Others have gone so far as to speculate that the animal may have had difficulty walking, possibly due to arthritis.
PEOPLE reported that in a later video with her then-boyfriend John Janssen, she updated fans, explaining that he wasn’t tired or overweight, pointing out that he had a very thick coat, which is most visible when he’s in the pool. Janssen responded to the other claims by saying, “He doesn’t have arthritis. »
The mom of three also thanked fans for their concern and noted that she would follow their recommendations on buying a harness for the dog so she doesn’t have to pull on her collar.
Bravo Star’s Dog Disappeared A Few Years Ago
Beador went into full panic mode on November 1, 2021, sharing on her Instagram Stories that Archie had been missing for hours. She asked fans to help her find the animal, revealing she had been out for about five hours looking for it and shouting its name. “So it’s after 4 a.m. and Archie has disappeared somehow. I don’t know what happened,” the reality star said through tears.
Bravo TV detailed that the “RHOC” star thought her pet had gone to bed upstairs the night before. After discovering he was nowhere in the house, she began searching and authorities joined the search team. She was really embarrassed when she saw her toy outside their house, wondering if the puppy had been taken away.
Later, Beador sent a positive update: Archie had been found and taken in by a neighbor. She learned of his whereabouts after a fan saw her emotional appeal on Instagram. The kind Internet user found a person on a community site who had posted that they had found a dog.
