Trump posted a video message Friday evening, telling the world that his goal is to “defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime – a vicious group of very tough and terrible people.”
The president also said that Iran has waged a 47-year campaign of “massacre and bloodshed” against the United States and its allies. Trump stressed that he would never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon despite the country’s efforts to rebuild its nuclear program after the United States destroyed it last summer.

His intentions regarding Iranian weapons are clear and promising… “We will destroy their missiles and raze their missile industry.”
