Actors' strike: Mark Ruffalo says to eliminate Hollywood's "fat cats"

Mark Ruffalo encourages fellow actors and writers to work together to eliminate " fat "Hollywood" cats by making independent films and shows.

His comments follow the start of the actors' strike which paralyzed the set from the industry last week.

George Clooney, Susan Sarandon, Jason Sudeikis and thousands of other actors joined the writers for the biggest walkout ever. 'Hollywood for over six decades.

"How about we all go India now?" Ruffalo tweeted over the weekend.

Tens of thousands of Hollywood actors have joined the writers in industrial action because they want the streaming giants to agree to a fairer distribution of profits and better working conditions.

The Screen Actors Guild also wants to protect actors from impersonation by digital replicas.

Sunday's world premiere of Disney's Haunted Mansion became the first major Hollywood event to take place without its cast, including Danny DeVito and Jamie Lee Curtis.
