AMC Theaters wants to host your Zoom calls

Virtual Zoom backgrounds are complete. The next big thing is to host your Zoom meetings on the biggest screen possible, especially a cinema screen. And starting in 2023, Zoom Video Communications and AMC Theaters are teaming up to turn some of their locations into what AMC calls "Zoom Rooms."

Yes, from 2023 you will be able to hold your Zoom meetings in an AMC, renting rooms with 75 to 150 seats so that everyone in your company can meet in one place and admire the view from the your boss bedroom underlight, now shown in AMC's cutting-edge picture and sound technology.

You can even have multiple Zoom rooms in different theaters in multiple cities all connected to the meeting and rent the space for three hours at a time (just make sure the free version of the meeting doesn't automatically time out after 40 minutes). AMC will even provide concessions, possible movie screenings, and "personalized management of concierge-style meeting needs" while you're hosting your Zoom, but it'll cost you extra.
