Andor Episode 6 Features One of the Most Beautiful Locations in the Star Wars Universe

The Eye was first mentioned in the fourth episode, "Aldhani", described by Gorn (Sule Rimi) as a celestial event that the people of Aldhani gather to witness once every three years, for as long as anyone can remember. He describes the view as comparable to "50 meteor showers at once", forming an eye on the horizon of the sky. The band's tech nerd, Nemik (Alex Lawther), quickly corrects Gorn that the phenomenon is a "recurring band of crystallized noctilucent micro-densities". It's basically a passageway of unstable crystal particles exploding and lighting up the sky.

As Aldhani came under Imperial control, however, fewer and fewer Aldhanis made the journey to witness the event, especially as the sacred ground was occupied by the Empire. Although due to the blinding beauty of this phenomenon, it turns out to be a dangerous but effective opportunity for our group of rebels to make a daring escape after their raid on the Imperial garrison.

After a long wait for this event, this week's episode, "The Eye" finally shows us the Eye of Aldhani in action, both from the perspective of our daredevils Rebels and their requisitioned Imperial transport, and the locals and Imperials watching the formation of the event from the ground below. As the phenomenon only lasts a few minutes, the entire mission depends on the rebels' ability to pull off a quick and timely escape.
