Angela Rayner says Raab knows 'the misery caused by thugs' as she accuses him of antisocial behavior

Angela Rayner has accused Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab of anti-social behavior as she mocked the Conservative government's attempted crackdown on thugs.

< p>The deputy leader of the Labor Party has mocked the justice secretary over the investigation into allegations of intimidation made against him during a fiery clash in the PMQs.

“The Deputy Prime Minister knows firsthand the misery caused by thugs and their intimidating, threatening and explosive behavior in fits of rage, creating a culture of fear and even throwing objects,” she said. p>

Ms Rayner added: "So as part of his new anti-social behavior [plan], does he think more bullies will be brought to justice?"

Mr. Raab - standing in for Rishi Sunak as Prime Minister and Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer attended the funeral of former chairwoman Betty Boothroyd - replied: 'I can assure House that I have never called anyone a scum.' p>

Ms Rayner was heavily criticized for her comments about 'Tory scum' at the Labor conference, for which she later apologized 'unreservedly'.

She challenged Mr Raab for his alleged behavior towards staff as the government tried to tackle anti-social behavior, saying: "Not just his department where anti-social behavior is spiraling out of control, it's happening across the country.

With the independent investigation into the claims against Mr. Raab set to report soon, Ms. Rayner joked that it "could be her last PMQ" before ask, "Will he walk before he gets pushed?"

Mr. Raab accused his Labor rival of "political expediency", adding: "If she is serious about standing up for communities and people who suffer from the scourge of anti-social behavior, she would support our plan to deal with these issues faster.

“And if they really want to protect the public, they will support our plans for parole reform to make sure that murderers, terrorists, child killers are not allowed out for free. threaten other people and reintroduce the ministerial veto that this side won."
