It's starting to look a lot like a cut-price Christmas this year, as the cost of living continues to worry families across the country.
The triple onslaught of Covid-19, Brexit and the energy crisis, coupled with soaring inflation and interest rates, has left many of us in shock.
And now a study by a parenting website has found that most families are more concerned about the cost of Christmas than they normally would be.
Its survey of over a thousand users found that two in five are more likely to buy gifts that people need rather than want.
Unlike last year, it also showed a 31% drop in the number of users planning to donate to food banks over the Christmas period, with many saying they can't afford it anymore. allow.
