Hoping to attempt to mount a genuine European charge this season, Gerrard's men could smell a chance on Saturday afternoon. Watching Bournemouth cap off their summer preparations with three straight defeats to Real Sociedad, Bristol City and Braga, many have indicated the Cherries will be in the midst of a relegation slump this year. Nonetheless, winning each of their last three encounters against Villa by a 2-1 scoreline, fans around Vitality will be desperate for their side to get a boost early this weekend.
