An Australian tourist has warned holidaymakers to check the cost of drinks after accidentally buying a bottle of wine that cost more than their Bali vacation.
The tourist said he had visited the Indonesian vacation island for the third time and had chose a good restaurant to celebrate his partner's birthday.< /p>
He then ordered at the bar and thought he was buying a bottle of wine that didn't would only cost him $170.
The tourist said the wine actually cost him $2,000 and he revealed how he made the mistake at from a simple misunderstanding on the menu.
'I wanted share a classic story of ignorant tourist and my miscalculations when it comes to the exchange rate,' he wrote on Facebook.
' I think it was my third time in Bali and on this occasion we were celebrating my partner's birthday, so I booked (a restaurant) for a special dinner.
